Known as the mythical creature of Wyoming, the Jackalope may look like something from a fairy tale, but it should not be taken lightly. Appearing like a rabbit with a stag’s antlers, its powerful legs allow for it to cross wide distances incredibly quickly. It’s also been said that the creature can actually mimic human voices and is known to gore hunter’s legs with their antlers.

While some people have debunked many taxidermy Jackalopes, claiming them to be hoaxes - where horns have been grafted onto a hare carcass - there have been reports of genuine sightings of the beasts alive.

Some local tales describe the creature as being incredibly fond of whiskey so if you are looking to get the Jackalope on side, we recommend carrying a thermos filled with finely aged single malt whiskey and suggest you skip the ice.
