When 19-year-old Mercy Brown died of tuberculosis in January of 1892, it was just another tragic moment in a series of sad events for the Brown family. Unfortunately, this death did not mark the end of the Brown family’s suffering, but a start of a whole new horror.

It’s been a ground-breaking week with not one but two new Hordes escaping the Rift. We’ve also had the thrill of seeing just how many of you were putting these new cards to the test and reaching astronomical heights with them.

Fearsome critters and mythical beasts from the United States, Canada and Native American folklore have shattered the veil and now spill into our realm.

The ground shook and the skies filled with an otherworldly glow. Green and red clouds swirled above our heads. The Rift rumbled into life in a way we’ve never seen before. With a crash of lightning and an unholy shriek, the Rift opened and two new Hordes escaped.
