It’s been a ground-breaking week with not one but two new Hordes escaping the Rift. We’ve also had the thrill of seeing just how many of you were putting these new cards to the test and reaching astronomical heights with them.
New Expansions!
Monday saw the release of the North American and Urban Legends Hordes, seeing 32 brand new cards enter our realm. With North American leaning on the Revenge deck theme and Urban Legends growing in power the more you use them (or more you say their names), these opened doors for all manner of new deck building opportunities.
These new cards also blend well with some of our previous hordes as we’re seeing Spring Heeled Jack make appearances in Commons-heavy decks and several North American cards adding support to Grimbald decks (yes, Cryptozoology has made some new friends). It’s been fun to watch Truce decks have their moment in the sun (or moonlight, we prefer the dark here) as players start to play decks utilizing several Alliances.
We’d be thrilled to see what you’ve been playing so tag us on our social media accounts or jump into the Deck Building channel on Discord and show us your fearsome plays.
Beginner Quest IGN Issue
We've seen a few new players get stuck when trying to complete their username beginner quest. If you try to enter a name and get stuck with a spinning wheel, it's very likely happening because your chosen username is already in use. Restart the app and try to enter a different one.
The team are working on fixing this and will implement a message that lets you know if your username is already in use but in the meantime, this is the best alternative. We're sorry for the inconvenience and now look forward for to seeing some very unique usernames appearing! If you're still stuck, pop into our Discord server for further help.

With North American providing some heavy hitting cards, we’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of you who achieved Rift Breaker status on Discord. This is a special role for anyone who gains more than 1000 Attack in a single turn. Congratulations and welcome to our ranks:
