Weekly Recap - Expansions, Shop Updates and Dev Decks

Greetings Champions,

It’s been hotter than the fires of hell here at Eerie Base Camp and there’s been so much going on! If you had your eyes shut all week (maybe there was a Nattmara haunting you, who are we to judge), you may have missed 4 NEW Hordes and a whole overhaul of the Eerie Worlds store.

You can find out more about each new Horde in our daily field reports, discoverable by scrolling through the News section, or check out our Developer Expansion Preview post for more insight from the team.

More Shop Updates

And that’s not all. Today sees the Tortured Truce pack smashing into the store with 1 Guaranteed Rare from each Alliance and 4 Random cards.

And if you return tomorrow, you’ll find the Fabled Hunter, containing 1 Guaranteed Fabled card from any Alliance! The ideal way to spend that gold you’ve managed not to splurge on Booster packs all week.

Developer Deck Tips

To see us into another busy weekend of battle, here’s a little look at some decks our team have been building this week with one from AvidEmma and AvidJoseph!

AvidEmma has had a blast building a Synnig and Zerrofel team-up deck with both powerful figures from Nordic and disruptive ghosts from Hauntings! She says "I'm loving causing trouble to the League bonus Alliances with Bloody Mackenzie and Hanako-san while building up power with Huginn and Munnin and Ljosalfar. Granted, I've had to be very careful with my energy but that's what Jormungandr is there for!"

AvidJoseph has been experimenting with an all-Rivin deck that’s a cross between Slavic and West African. He says “Slavic’s weakness is being a high-mana deck, but Mami Wata can reduce the cost of your Rivin cards while Oshosi boosts your mana for next turn. Shango and Ogun both become more powerful based on the number of Rivin cards you’ve played, so mixing them with strong Slavic cards like Psoglav and Dhampir makes a perfect combo.”

You can get a detailed look at these decks over on our socials or on our Discord server! And be sure to show us your terrifying decks as well.
