This week has been all about the rebirth of some of our cards! Jump in-game today to make sure you try out some new and improved World Cards as well as some old favorites who deserved some attention.
New Card Balance Patch is Here
As said earlier this week, 8 cards transformed today. Those include 4 World cards, 3 Fables and 1 Epic. We’ve been listening carefully to your feedback (and several members on the team who you may have seen lurking in the Grim Reaper leader boards felt the same) so it was time to give these cards an overhaul. The full details can be found in our previous news post but just as a quick reminder, these are the cards that have had a revamp:
We’re looking forward to seeing you test out these changes and we think the Cryptid fans out there are going to be over the moon (say hi to the Mothman while you’re up there). And we’re incredibly pleased with the Hookman having a rather pointier hook now too!
Champions of Upgrades!
Not one but TWO Champions of Upgrades have risen to the challenge over on our Discord. For those of you who are unaware, we have an exclusive Discord role for anyone who has upgraded a Fabled card to Fabled 5 and can now show off their stunning alternate art in-game.
We'd like to congratulate both EdgarAllanDoh and DevilDoc for their amazing achievements. This is quite a feat and we're thoroughly blown away. Well done!
Shop Updates
And that’s not all. Don't forget the weekend shop updates! Today sees the Tortured Truce pack smashing into the store with 1 Guaranteed Rare from each Alliance and 4 Random cards.
And if you return tomorrow, you’ll find the Fabled Hunter, containing 1 Guaranteed Fabled card from any Alliance! The ideal way to spend that gold you’ve managed to avoid splurging (not that we know how to hold on to gold - half our team spends it the minute they get it).
