TIPS

Alliances:
This week is the perfect time to give Cryptozoology its time in the sun. (Or moonlight, judging by some of their nocturnal tendencies.) With new buffs to Bluff Creek, Bigfoot and Mothman, this is the perfect week to put them through their paces. And their paces leave massive footprints.
The higher Mana cap will also leave more room for late game North American plays but the low per turn increase means that Cryptozoology is still a great deck for early plays.
Zerrofel are ready to put the new changes to Yomi to the test this week so a perfect time to dust off your Yokai decks! Yokai is a deck that relies on careful placement of cards AND paying attention to your opponent so if you’re brand new, be sure to read abilities carefully and keep a careful eye on what your opponent is playing and where.
This news writer is a massive Hauntings fan so this is a wicked deck for this week. You can be extra sneaky and increase the mana cost of your opponent’s cards with some Rares and we always love the brutality of a Bell Witch/El Silbon combo on a turn where you draw La Llorona! However, this might cost you when it comes to Mana!
Mana Management:
Mana staples such as Fenrir, the Hat Man and some West African Rare cards are going to be very useful this week, in spite of them not getting an Alliance boost. Think carefully about how you want to cycle your cards to get the most out of these support cards!
While Hauntings will be a strong deck this week, that low Mana per turn number means that you may want to think carefully about the upgrade ranks you include in your deck. Epic 2 cards may prove a little pricey so if you’re not there yet, fear not, they may not be as helpful this week as you’d think.
Best of luck and see you on the battlefield!
