Fix Notes - World Cards, Cryptozoology and Others

Greetings Champions,

Changes are brewing. While this isn’t the first time we’ve made some transformational card changes (with Shinigami lurking menacingly in the background), this is certainly the largest batch we’ve decided to go ahead with.

Many players have commented on certain World Cards not being as strong as others so this was our first port of call when looking at cards requiring attention.

Closely following that was the Horde Cryptozoology. We know many of you came into the game with a love for Mothman (who doesn’t love the fuzzy winged freak?) and it’s been disappointing for some that these cards are now seen as less powerful compared to newer cards. Hopefully with changes to Bluff Creek, Mothman and Bigfoot, this Horde can now stand its ground and cryptid fans will rejoice.

We also have a few other cards that needed a little tweaking, including the Hookman (who now has a much pointer hook) and Hades (who can now show your Greek Commons some love).

These changes will go live in-game at 9am UTC on Friday 6 December.

As always, thank you for your feedback and you can join our realm on Discord to let us know how you’re finding the game.
