This week has seen Synnig and Rivin throw down the gauntlet in our League matches and we’ve been stunned by some of the creative decks we’ve been seeing you share over on Discord.
But as we’re an equally power-hungry bunch, our team couldn’t resist sharing some of the decks they’ve been playing with too. Be prepared for an outrageously high score that'll make your bones shake and a deck that would make it into the halls of Valhalla.
AvidGrant has been playing a mix of West African and Slavic cards, taking advantage of Rivin’s League boost. Leshy’s control over the forest has certainly spread to the battlefield and you’re looking at some very big Attack numbers late-game if you play him right! Bauk and Psoglav are great additions from Slavic to bolster the rest of your cards or nab you a devious +30 Attack per Turn. AvidGrant broke 1500 Attack in one turn with this deck so it’s a formidable one for sure!
AvidEmma has gone all-in on Nordic and has been calling this her “Ride of the Valkyries” deck. Having both Fenrir and Jormungandr alleviates Mana stress after the first few turns and gives breathing space for heavy hitters like Fossegrim and Sleipnir. Of course, Valkyries is the star of the show here, giving your Common cards a delicious boost until played, which means if you’re very sly, you can build this up with a few cycles of this card.
