Greetings Champions and welcome to our next expansion preview!
As a strange fog settles, we can finally catch a glimpse of our second Horde trying to slip into our realm from theirs. Be wary as you say their names because you never know what you might summon in the gloom. In this next developer blog, we’ll be catching up with AvidGrant and hearing about our next upcoming horde...Urban Legends.
AvidGrant (LiveOps Overlord)
Taking a short break from the vengeful playstyle of our new North American horde, AvidGrant is taking us through his favourite parts of the new Urban Legends horde.
‘Urban Legends is one of my personal most anticipated hordes and I love the design philosophy behind them: Urban Legends grow stronger the more they spread. As such, you'll find many cards that grow in strength the more times they are played.’
‘The Urban Legends cards work well together, but also open up avenues for new cross-horde Synnig decks and cross Alliance decks as well. I've really enjoyed playing a Commons-focused deck revolving around Valkyries, Spring Heeled Jack, and Valhalla during testing and I'm sure there are even better possibilities I haven't yet thought of.’
‘Players who enjoy disrupting their opponent (hello, Zerrofel enthusiasts!) should be eager to dive into Urban Legends as well; cards like The Hat Man (which steals progressively more mana from the opponent the more times he's played) should work nicely alongside Hauntings. In my opinion, Urban Legends has something for everyone to enjoy!’
